PAGASA SUPPORTS VARIOUS LOCAL COMMUNITIES WITHIN NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA and OVERSEAS THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS and ACTIVITIES supporting various advocacies for:
VULNERABLE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY through partnership with CLOTHESLINE (an organisation that provides clothing, beddings, and common household items).
Our work stretches across all regions in New South Wales. From the suburbs of South West Sydney (Liverpool, Casula, Moorebank, Chipping Norton, Warwick Farm, Prestons, Hoxton Park, Carnes Hill, Edmondson Park, Fairfield, Cabramatta, Carramar, Villawood, Campbelltown, Bradbury, Leumeah, Gregory Hills, Oran Park, Harrington Park, Mount Annan) our reach extends beyond New South Wales to include other Australian states and territories.
By working together, PAGASA and CLOTHESLINE ensure availability of support to marginalised and vulnerable Australians facing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
Charities, shelters for newly arrived migrants/refugees, correctional facilities, churches of different faiths, Australians from various walks of life, cultures and backgrounds benefit from the work that we do.
Inclusivity is our ethos. We are committed to an Australian society that empowers, respects, values and encourages participation of and support to everyone notwithstanding their backgrounds, sexuality, identity, beliefs or circumstance in life.
Since 2008, ClothesLine has been a respected not-for-profit organisation whose work aligns with the mission and values of PAGASA as well as broader Australian values of ‘mateship’ and ‘fair go’ through compassion for those in need.
With support from partners such as ClothesLine, the funding grant will allow PAGASA to continue assisting members of diverse electoral groups with dedication and compassion.
Moreover, we can be a beacon of hope that brings a shine to Australian values of ‘mateship’ and ‘fair go’ within our shores and with other nations across the seas.
Consistent with Australia’s Humanitarian Policy of harnessing “resources and expertise to better prepare for and respond to humanitarian crises, both in our region and across the world”, ClothesLine and PAGASA have been sending clothing to disaster areas globally.
Australia’s proud history of humanitarian action was put in motion when boxes of clothing were sent to the Philippine islands in the aftermath of typhoons in 2025. Beyond the Indo-Pacific region where we belong, nations far beyond in Europe and the Middle East have received our support.
In recognition of above-mentioned efforts, the Sydney consulate of our Indo-Pacific partner, Kingdom of Thailand was commendatory.
Regardless of whether it serves an electorate, other Australian states and territories or beyond Australia’s shores, any funding support will help continue meritorious projects that advance Australia Fair in accordance with subsidy arrangements.
